We are pleased to announce our first new walk since the start of the lockdowns in 2020. Starting on April 19th 2021 at 11.00 amm there will be a Grade 2 walk from outside the cafe at the Bowring Park in Wellington. We have plans for another in South Telford too, watch this space.
Most of our walks restarted in the week beginning March 29th. The eased restrictions also allowed us to hold the demo walk for our new trainee leaders. Here they are with 3 familiar faces . Look out for an announcement of a new walk too.
As previously announced Ramblers Walking for Health scheme will become Ramblers Wellbeing Walks during 2021. Latest News: The Stirchley walk will be re-starting on December 8th after all, thanks to Jane, one of our committee members, who has led at Stirchley before.
We are pleased to be able to tell you that our walks can restart from Wednesday December 2nd.Update: The only pre-lockdown walks that are not restarting are Stirchley on a Tuesday and Town Park on a Thursday (Monday and Friday are running) . All the others including Apley (pictured below) are definitely restarting.
